The bible is God’s word to people. It is the gospel truth that delivers grace and faith required for human to function supernaturally. The word of God is the potent power of God for Deliverance – II Tim.3:16, Prov.4:20-22,
There is one God and the judge of all, he is characterised by His three-in-one nature (Trinity) –
The Trinity – We believe in God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit though they possess the same authority but function differently. 1Jn.5:7, Duet.6:4, Matt.16:17, 2 Cor.13:14, 1Tim.3:16
The Father He is the creator, reigns supremely, all powerful and knows all things even the most abstract and intricate aspect of individuals. He is a loving, kind and faithful to His promises for His people. Just like earthly father /son relationship, He wants us to trust Him though we cannot see Him. Lk.11:11, Num. 23:19, Jere.29:11, Gal. 4:6, Jn.3:16
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, He is begotten of God the Father sent to destroy the works of the evil one. He defeated the power of grave and gave us life everlasting. He is the mediator of the New Covenan. Jesus name is most powerful brand, He is the only way, He is the Role – Model and a fashion for man’s lifestyle – Jn. 14:6, Matt. 1:18-25, Phil. 2:9, Jn.3:17
The Holy Spirit is the person of God’s presence given to guide believers into all truth, convicts people of their sin. He is the help and comforter to those who believe in Christ. He is the carrier of the nature and power of Christ in us expressing the grace of God in us for righteousness living. Every believer is expected to be baptised of the Holy Spirit. Mk.16:17, 18; Acts 1:8, 1Cor.3:16
Salvation is faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, it is a gift of God to man. All have sinned and all would need to be saved. Through the redemptive power in the blood of Jesus on the cross of Calvary man was forgiven and reconciled to God. The resurrection of Christ from death qualified man to live a victorious life in Him. He is the author of salvation. 1Cor.15:4, Rom.3:23
Water Baptism is the immersion of man in the water, a symbolism of the death and resurrection of Christ. Jn. 3:5, 1Jn. 5:8
The Lord’s Supper is the breaking of bread (body of Christ broken) and wine (the blood of Jesus) activating the power of the cross in us. It is a celebration of the New Covenant bringing us into holy communion with God and unconditional love towards the others- Matt. 28:19, 26:26-29
End Time is the end of time marked by the second coming of Christ. God lives in eternity and man he placed in time and dispensation. Jesus Christ is coming back again for the righteous, the dead shall rise again. Everyone will appear before the Judgement throne of God and each one will be rewarded according on their works – a decision for eternal home. – Acts 1:11, I Thess. 4:16, 17, 2 Cor.5:10, Rev. 22:12
Eternity God created man to live eternally with Him in Heaven such as having salvation and had lived righteously otherwise those who lived sinful life and whose soul were separated from God will end up in Hell eternally. -Jn.3:36, Rev. 20:15, Rom.6:23
